Webcomics
I read Trash Mountain for this week. Trash Mountain is a GIF webcomic by Kelton Sears. This is the first time I read a comic in such format. The story is really short but interesting to watch. Especially on page 2, when Globby the main character falling down and I scrolled down the page with him, it was fun. I think maybe it could be better if it adds some elements that the audience can click on it and interact with the comic. This kind of comic is really new to me, so I read part of 17776 or What Football Will Look Like in the Future by Jon Bois. The setting was really interesting. I was confused in the first part, and couldn’t connect it with football. In the first part, the author put dialogues on calenders. It’s a really special way to express time passing visually. And pages of pages blank calendars give me a feeling of a long period of time when Nine is waiting. There are not a lot of pictures in this comic. Most part of the comic is colored dialogues with black background
